Deppe’s indictment in San Francisco Superior Court came as Paul Pelosi, the 82-year-old husband of a top-ranking House Democrat, remained hospitalized after an alleged assault on Friday morning.

The 42-year-old suspect was incarcerated at the San Francisco County Jail on several state charges including murder, theft, assault and false imprisonment after being discharged from the hospital.
