ADRs End Higher; Sberbank, Experian Among Companies Actively Trading

International stock trading in New York closed with gains on Friday. The S&P/BNY Mellon Index for US Depository Receipts rose 0.8% to 168.80. The European index rose 0.9% to 151.74. The Asian index rose 0.6% to 222.97. The Latin American index rose 1% to 191.20. And the Emerging Markets Index rose 1% to 366.77.

Sberbank Rossia’s ADR fell by 3.1% on Friday. The Russian bank said net profit and net assets increased for 2021.

Experian Plc’s ADR declined 1.9%, the credit-reporting agency said on Friday, adding that organic revenue grew 11% at constant exchange rates and 14% at real exchange rates in the third quarter of fiscal 2022, and raised its full-year guidance. For the year, Experian expects to report organic revenue growth of between 12% and 13% and total revenue growth of 16% to 17%, all at constant exchange rates.

OneSmart International Education Group Ltd.’s ADRs declined by 5.7% as the company said it would reduce the ratio of its American depository shares for its Class A shares to one ADS representing 40 Class A shares representing 1,000. to one ADS ratio.
