Alec Baldwin and War The producer and crew member who handled the gun used to shoot and kill cinematographer Halina Hutchins and caused damage to director Joel Souza have been sued for negligence by Prakash, head of production, Rolling stone informed of, the first legal action taken in connection with the shooting.
Serge Svetnoy filed suit in Los Angeles against Baldwin, who was both an actor and a producer War, assistant director Dave Holles, who handed over the gun to Baldwin and told him it was safe to use, according to the police affidavit, for punitive and other damages to Hannah Gutierrez-Reid and the film’s other producers.

The suit reportedly states that the shooting was caused by “the reckless acts and omissions of the defendants.”
