The building industry is the only sector where business confidence improved in November, from 1.1 in October to 2.3. All the components that make up the indicator have contributed to the growth, except the one related to the trends in the instruments used.

Conversely, confidence in the services sector has waned, falling from 16.4 in the previous month to 15.3. Company owners are taking a more negative view of their current level of business activity. On the other hand, they appear more optimistic about the future prospects for their activities, the report said.

In the manufacturing industry, all components of the indicator have remained constant. In November, this indicator slightly increased from 2.3 in the previous month to 2.5.

In the trading sector, the indicator turned minus 2.4 in November, from minus 2.0 in October. The bank said that demand forecasts have eased sharply, while orders placed to suppliers have improved.
