Bergen Carbon Solutions Executives Sell Shares to Awilco

Bergen Carbon Solutions AS said on Wednesday that industrial investment company Avilco AS has purchased 600,000 shares in the company, with an option to acquire 1.4 million more shares.

Awilco sold Chief Executive Jan B. Bought 300,000 shares from both Sagmo and Chief Operating Officer Finn Beled-Svendsen. Of these, 100,000 shares were received from Mollen Invest AS, a subsidiary of Mr. Bledt-Svendson.

Following the transaction Mr. Sagmo owns 2.98 million shares and Mr. Blyde-Svendson owns 4.03 million shares, including 324,000 shares through Mollen Invest AS.

Awilco has the right to acquire a further 1.4 million shares for NOK45.0 each by December 30, 2021, on condition of achieving a technical milestone at Bergen Carbon Solutions. If exercised, this would bring its total stake to 4.17 million shares, representing an 11.2% stake.

The Bergen Carbon Solutions Board will now consider issuing a notice of an extraordinary general meeting where it will be proposed that Avilco is elected to the Board of Directors.

Bergen Carbon Solutions produces carbon nanofibers using CO2 and hydropower. Carbon nanofibers are used in lithium batteries, supercapacitors and many other industries.
