Gatestone Institute Senior Fellow Gordon Chang sounded the alarm about a “new cold war” coming from Russia and China, saying on “Morning with Mary” on Tuesday that while many Americans say they don’t want conflict, Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin met 39 times to make sure it happens. The change also commented on President Biden’s calling John Podesta his climate czar and its implications for the foreign affairs of the United States.

GORDON CHANG: This [Biden appointing John Podesta] is actually wrong, and I’m sure the Podestas will say, “That was then and this is now” – but we must remember that the United States is under relentless and malicious attack from China. We think we’re in the world so it’s business as usual but The Chinese believe they are at war with the US. So anyone with China-friendly views and representing Chinese companies, especially dangerous ones like Huawei, simply shouldn’t be an official. It is not difficult, or at least should not be considered difficult. They just shouldn’t serve.
