Startup QuickBlox on Tuesday announced the launch of Q-Consult Lite, which gives developers the ability to integrate the virtual meeting room plugin with existing platforms and websites.
In addition to providing secure video calling and instant chat messaging, Q-Consult Lite features industry-specific use cases with the option to place participants in virtual, real-time queues or waiting rooms.
The platform is significant as it enables healthcare professionals, financial advisors, human resource recruiters and others to host virtual private consultations, training sessions and at-home monitoring.
Q-Consult Lite is powered by Tech Enterprises QuickBlocks, which was founded in 2011, to make it easy to add communication to apps. The company allows its users to have messaging, audio and video chat in Android, iOS or web apps with QuickBlox API and SDK.
“Q-Consult Lite was originally created to meet the extraordinary demand from QuickBlox’s customers for digital and remote communication solutions during COVID-19. After testing the software with several healthcare organizations, we saw direct benefits, such as reducing the cost of no-show appointments and pressure on clinical resources,” said Nate McLeach, CEO of QuickBlox.
