Cloudcall Group PLC said Monday that revenue for 2021 rose in line with management’s expectations.
The UK communications-technology provider said it generated revenue of 13.6 million pounds ($18.5 million) last year, up 15% from a year earlier. Recurring revenue also rose 15% to GBP11.9 million.
Cloudcall said careful cost control means operating expenses and losses before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization are expected to be slightly narrower than prior guidance, but didn’t provide a figure. An estimate from Canaccord Genuity taken from FactSet puts Ebitda for the year at a loss of GBP5.2 million.
The company said the recruitment sector, which represents more than half of its revenue, bounced back from the middle of the year, driving an acceleration in business sales growth.
The company also said it increased its number of customers by 14%, to 1,658, and that it has materially increased its number of upsells to existing customers.
