Delta Air Lines says customers will get an additional year to use the travel vouchers they got after canceling a flight during the pandemic.
ATLANTA – Delta Air Lines said Wednesday it would extend the window for customers to rebook credits they purchased until 2023, but then canceled flights during the pandemic.
Prior to the announcement, Delta flight credits were scheduled to expire at the end of 2022. The new date will also apply to all tickets purchased in 2022. Customers will be able to use the credit in 2024 if the journey is booked by December 31, 2023, the airline said.
The move was not immediately matched by American Airlines or United Airlines, where the credits are due to expire on March 31 and December 31, respectively.
