California flight passenger says man tried to break window and open exit door
A Delta Air Lines flight from California to Atlanta was diverted to Dallas this morning due to an “unruly passenger on board,” the company said in a statement.
A passenger believed to have been on board a plane departing from Orange County tweeted: “Just now a dude tried to smash a window and open the exit door on my Delta flight to Atlanta, causing a 3:00 a.m. medical emergency landing in Dallas. ”
The DFW Airport Police Department did not immediately respond to FOX Business’s request for comment on the nature of the incident. Delta was unable to verify the passenger’s account.
