Then, he showed a photo of what appeared to be an employee schedule, which he claimed showed him working weekends alone for the 5th time in a row. then he gave it up.

“I am a woman of my word,” she wrote on Post-It. “Two weeks notice from Isabella,” the note adds in pink ink. Isabella did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Instagram.

Isabella’s video went viral, garnering over 500,000 likes, and sparked a lot of buzz about the restaurant industry.

“One person for a pizza place?!?! On weekends??” A user commented.

“I’m sorry you all had terrible managers. I manage a small pizza business and I love all employees. Respect your people. They will respect you,” wrote another.

Restaurants across the country are struggling to keep their businesses on staff, which can often lead to overworked employees. Results from the National Restaurant Association’s August survey said that 81% of 4,200 restaurant operators say their establishment “currently has job opportunities that are difficult to fill.” According to the Washington Post, hospitality workers have been advocating for better benefits to bring restaurants back into the industry.

Isabella discusses gaining a following and support in a later video.
