Mr. Haythorpe has more than 30 years of experience managing listed gold miners as well as working as a mining analyst and actively exploring for gold as a geologist, it said.
He has held previous board member roles for listed mining companies, including roles as managing director for Crescent Gold Ltd. and Michelago Resources. He is currently managing director of GoldOz Ltd., a gold company seeking to relist in Australia.
,[Mr. Haythorpe] built Crescent Gold from an $8 million explorer into a $250 million gold producer. He clearly sees the potential within the ECR portfolio,” Chairman David Tang said.
