Ero Copper Sees Strong Organic Growth in 2022 and Beyond — Commodity Comment

Vancouver-based Arrow Copper Corp said it expects to produce more copper and gold in 2022 and in 2021 after a target-beating year. The company had a year of record production at its mining operations in Brazil and says it has laid the foundation for strong organic growth.

on production:

“At the MCSA Mining Complex, total production for 2021 was 45,511 metric tons of copper, exceeding the high end of full-year guidance of 42,000 to 45,000 tons.”

“At the NX Gold Mine, total production for 2021 was 37,798 ounces of gold, exceeding the high end of full-year guidance of 34,500 to 37,500 ounces of gold.”

On 2022 production:

“MCSA Mining Complex production guidance focuses on C1 cash cost guidance range of copper of $1.05 to $1.15 per pound of copper to be produced from 43,000 to 46,000 tons.”

“NX Gold Mine production guidance is 39,000 to 42,000 ounces of gold at C1 cash cost and all-in-maintain guidance is $500 to $600 and $925 to $1,025 per ounce of gold produced, respectively.”

On the company’s five-year outlook:

“Copper production is projected to more than double the company’s 2021 results from 92,000 to 102,000 tonnes of copper in 2025, assuming contributions from the Boa Esperanca mine.”

“Annual gold production is projected to increase in the range of 55,000 to 60,000 ounces by 2024, an increase of more than 50% compared to the 2021 results.”
