Union workers at agricultural manufacturer Deere & Company—also known as John Deere—agreed on Wednesday to end a month-long strike of more than 10,000 workers after ratifying a new contract that would give workers immediate access. Will offer 10% increment.

United Auto Workers (UAW) Union announced That the new “historic agreement” was approved by a margin of 61% to 39%.

The new six-year contract includes an immediate 10% increase for all workers, an $8,500 signing bonus and will be followed by an additional 5% wage increase in 2023 and 2025, among other benefits.

More than 90% of workers rejected the company’s first offer and 55% of workers rejected the second deal, the third deal approved on Wednesday after doubling the increase the company had initially offered.
