Lightspeed Commerce Expects Higher Revenue in Second Quarter

Canadian point-of-sale and e-commerce software provider Lightspeed Commerce Inc. expects higher revenue in the second quarter and said that its revenue outlook for the fiscal year is in line with its target subscription and transaction-based revenue growth rate.

Lightspeed said Thursday that it expects revenue in the range of $178 million to $183 million, up from $133.2 million it reported in the prior-year period.

Adjusted loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization is expected at around $10 million.

For the full year, revenue is forecast to be between $740 million and $760 million, which it said is in line with its target organic subscription and transaction-based revenue growth rate of around 35% to 40%.
