Mastercard Inc. has undergone a flurry of leadership changes in its international operations.
The payments company named its president of international markets, Gilberto Caldart, as senior vice president of customer partnerships and relations.
Mastercard said Raghu Malhotra and Ling Hai will lead its international markets division as co-chairs. The company said they will be responsible for advancing business strategy, sales, business development and engagement with customers and regulators in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Mastercard named Dimitrios Dossis, who has served as president of the company’s professional services arm, Mastercard Advisors, as president of its newly structured Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
The company tapped Yasmein Bedir, its executive vice president, processor and community institutions for the Americas, to lead the newly created Turkey and Commonwealth of Independent States division. She will report to Mr Dossis, the company said.
Asia Pacific’s co-chair Ari Sarkar will be the only president of the region.
The appointments will take effect from 1 January.
President of Operations North America MasterCard Linda Kirkpatrick; President of Latin America Region Carlo Enrico; And president of Europe Mark Barnett will continue in their current roles, the company said.
Mastercard shares rose 1.4% to about $338 in pre-market trading.
