American basketball star Brittney Griner arrived in a court outside Moscow on Wednesday, as she is expected to take the stand for the first time during her ongoing trial on drug charges.

Accompanied by guards, Griner wore a black Phoenix Mercury T-shirt, representing her WNBA team.

Griner held up three photos Wednesday while in a cage inside the courtroom, including one photo of her wife Cherelle Griner graduating from law school this spring and images of her friends and teammates.

Griner’s lawyer Alexander Boykov told CNN that the American will testify Wednesday, giving Russian prosecutors a chance to question Griner for the first time.

Griner pleaded guilty to drug charges July 7, and faces a prison sentence of up to 10 years. Russian authorities arrested Griner in February after discovering cannabis vape cartridges in her luggage.
