The alternative-fuels company said Valkor will help commercialize its MSAR heavy fuel oil and bioMSAR synthetic biofuel.

Under Phase 1 of the agreement, set to be completed by the end of June, Valkor will deliver a crude oil sample from an oil asset it owns in Utah to Quadrise for analysis, to confirm it is suitable for MSAR and bioMSAR production. Quadrise and Valkor will then together negotiate supply agreements with target consumers, and conclude terms for a license and supply agreement by October, Quadrise said.

Under Phase 2 of the agreement, Quadrise intends to grant Valkor exclusive terms over the deployment of its technology in Utah, expected to take the form of further license and supply agreements or tolling agreements, Quadrise said.

Net profits generated are to be shared between Quadrise and Valkor, based on the respective contributions to the deployment of the technology to each project, Quadrise said.
