NS Washington Post/ABC News vote, which is considered the most Reliable Political polls found that 51% of registered voters lean Republican on a typical congressional ballot, with only 41% leaning toward Democrats.

By far the largest lead Republicans in election history have gotten search marks on the congressional ballot, which has surveyed the issue since 1981.
