A weapon was accidentally discharged at a security check area at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport on Saturday, causing panic among passengers and a brief pause for departing flights, according to airport officials.
Videos of the incident on social media showed people with their heads covered or running away from the security checkpoint area.
