The late actress Zsa Zsa Gabor’s hot pink estate in Palm Springs, California is up for sale for $3.8 million.
The gaudily glamorous property was also home to her sister, Magda Gabor.
On an elevated plain nestled between mountains in the Little Tuscany region, society sisters individually occupied this brightly decorated complex for more than 30 years.
The custom-built dwelling has an area of 3441 sq. foot and maintains the multimarriage extravagance that defined Zsa Zsa’s public image. (The Budapest-born 1952 Moulin Rouge star had just under 10 husbands in her 99 years, the last of whom remained her husband until she passed away in 2016.)
Outside, the brick facade is painted like a Barbie dream house. The large mosaic tiled pool has a statue standing over its center and is surrounded by a wide stone deck with plenty of black and white sun loungers that match the deck awning. There is also a patio with a fire pit and a lower level covered with artificial turf and “desert landscaping”. list.Â

Inside is no less violent. There are stone floors and plenty of mirrors, a hot pink closet, a hot pink entryway, hot pink carpeting, lots of chandeliers, a kitchen full of black cabinetry plus a wine cooler, warmer drawer and original Hungarian skewer, plus a yellow peacock. – bathroom with wallpaper. In total, the house has three bathrooms and three bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own wing with an office, dressing room, dressing room and bathroom with two vanities.
Those who are looking for a house full of stories and colors have certainly found a rival. Not convinced? It might be worth a try anyway, because buying a house is a bit like marrying a building, and in the words of Zsa Zsa, “a girl should marry for love and keep marrying until she finds it.”
Conrad Miller and Brandon Holland of Avenue 8 have the list.
